Weald of Kent Craft Show – Glide Media

The challenge

The Weald of Kent Craft Show runs in the striking landscape of Penhurst, Kent each year. There are over 150 independent stall holders each selling handmade jewellery, homewares, clothing and food stalls.

There’s also a mix of entertainment and fun for all the family and a large outdoor playground, live musicians and demonstrations.

The brief for London + Culture Calling and our AEN distribution partner, Glide Media was to drive visitor numbers up. Kent is awash with top quality family attractions and so creating cut-through was paramount for this artisan market.

The Strategy

The print campaign was developed to raise awareness throughout neighbouring Kent counties. Over a 1000 printed leaflets were distributed in London + Culture Calling’s Neighbourhoods including:

  • South Godstone
  • Hartfield
  • Forest Row
  • Ashurst

The Results

The campaign was delivered to all venues during February and March in time for the peak Easter period. The AEN alliance continues to work with The Weald of Kent Craft Show to keep awareness high for new artisan stalls and visitor numbers up.
